Brooks Brothers x Social Primer

This collaboration is up there with one of the most exciting things for us this year. Style blog Social Premier & classic American fashion giant Brooks Brothers got together to produce a series of reversible bow ties that frankly left me speechless. I did manage to get my hands on one just before the sold out and we will be reviewing it in the coming weeks.

After a quick look at the Brooks Brothers online store, it looks as though they have released some new ones. If you live within the USA and don't have to pay the $50 for shipping, it is well worth getting your hands on a couple.

Adam Kimmel: Tweed Bow ties

Designers Adam Kimmel sent the team at Hypebeast.com a couple of tweed bow ties last week as 2010 fall/winter launch. From the description and photos on the site, it looks like he has produced a beautiful tie.

Earlier this week Swipelife.com featured some 'exclusive backstage photos' from the Dolce & Gabbana motion picture film Quando, Quando, Quando. We noticed that a few of the actors were wearing some beautiful ties.

Firstly, let me welcome you to our new blog. We have a particular love for bow ties, mens and women's fashion, collaboration projects and beautiful hand made things. Oxford Cotton is a place for us to write about and review the bow ties we own, feature those who are using them in modern fashion settings and bring you insights into the people and companies behind some of the most beautiful bow ties that have appeared in the last few years.

Just this year alone there has been a lot happening relating to bow ties and luckily enough we have been keeping track. Over the next few weeks we will be trying to collate it all together so you can see what you may have missed, what happening now and what is to come.
